Life in the Fail Lane: MLP and its fans...

Well kids! While we're waiting for the DA $taff to deal with TheMarioDraw, how about some more lulz from Life in the Fail Lane?

All right... I need to come clean here. I hate MLP:FIM... I do.

I grew up with the original cartoon and toys, and I think My Little Pony should've just died quietly with the 80s/90s...

I think the new show's animation is just hideous. They look so cutesy pootsy, I just wanna squish them until they turn into little piles of pink dust. And the fact that it comes from Lauren Faust, who can do so much better, is just appalling!

But my biggest beef with it is its fanbase. It's like the new Sonic, with tons and tons of fans popping up like weeds.

Now, don't get me wrong... I was able to shrug the fans off before, thinking "Well, if they like it, that's fine."

But then I noticed that most of the fans I saw weren't painting their fandom in a good light.

Most of the MLP fans I see here on DA are obnoxious, rude, hateful, closed-minded, immature brats.

Yup... apparently a show aimed at three year-olds has a "gorn" fanbase...

But most of them are just derpy brats who can't accept anyone disliking it.

And they're everywhere you friggin' turn... acting like they're the supreme race because they happen to like a stupid little kids cartoon. Yeah... I'm sure your mom's real proud of you... And it's getting so bad, this site is becoming MLPA, not DA.

No really... just type 'MLP' in the DA search bar... it's everywhere!

But some of its fans aren't all bad... you know, like the rare 2% of them... but then we get fans who just drive my point home.

MLPFIMFAN2011 is a super fan of MLP, who thinks pedophilia and bestiality are alright. But the worst offense is that she had the nerve to bring Jesus into her bullshit.

I'm almost flattered that she thinks I have the power of a DA staff member.

I don't think she understands how DA works. They don't just let random people be staff for a day and delete images from other people's galleries.

I think she's just butthurt that her stuff got taken down and wants to somehow blame it all on me. Needless to say, I'm laughing like a kid high on sugar right now.

EDIT: Okay, so apparently MLPFIMFAN2011 claimed that the reason she called me a demon, wished a fiery death and damnation upon me, and blamed me for her gallery getting taken down is because she was "nervous."

I politely called bull on that, because nobody wishes Hell upon someone when they're nervous.

I also caught her in a lie on her journal (The lie was this: she first said that she was leaving DA and claimed she'd never draw again and blah-de-BAWW, and then decided to stay and take requests after all her whiteknights jumped on to tell her not to go in a classic attention whore fashion.) and when I confronted her about it, I got this.

"i tried by cool with you, but i don't can, you is a horrible person, and yes bavy, you is a demon!"

Aww! Poor kid must've gotten nervous again!

She of course blocked me like all butthurts who get called out on their stupidity do, but this was what would've been my reply to her.

"Aww! You're nervous again? Just because I pointed out a flaw and caught you in a lie doesn't make me horrible. You're quite mean for judging me for no reason... but I suppose you're just too immature to see that. I've been online a long time and I've seen the false sympathy bit you're pulling. It's quite unbecoming... "

Ah, but it only proves that she's a lying, judgmental, closed-minded brat who can't take criticism...

But in all seriousness...

If you like the show, that's fine. I will respect that. Just don't force it down everybody's throats... people won't always like something and we all need to respect that.

And if any news develops on TheMarioDraw, I'll let you kids know.
