A very important update... please, read.

Well, my fiance's getting deployed to Afghanistan this fall, and I'm a nervous wreck. And he could be gone as long as a year depending on how much he's needed there. See, he's a combat medic in the United States Army and right now there's a high demand for medics in the Middle East.

I'm asking that you all please pray for his safety and pray for me as well as I endure this hardship. I'm so worried and vulnerable right now. I'm trusting in God and praying, but the fear is still there. He means so much to me.

We've been together for three years now and have been through so many challenges. We've endured deaths of loved ones together and have been through long, heartbreaking separation since he's been in the Army. And God has blessed us both through it all by strengthening our bond. I know we can make it through this one with God's help, and with your prayers as well.

I'm not going to desert him. That's never even crossed my mind. No matter what may happen to him over there, my love for him will never falter. I'm loyal and faithful to the end. I've already started my daily rosary campaign for him and am going to Daily Mass as often as I can.

I know that with my prayers and your prayers, he and I can pull through this and when he's home and stationary, we'll finally be able to pledge our vows at the altar of God. Thanks in advance for your prayers, and have a blessed day.
