Another image of Princess Edolie and Darryn from my story "Once Upon a Wednesday." (I'm seriously on an art spree with my characters. I even have more images...)

Since I draw a lot of romantic images of them, I wanted to do some comical ones too. So, here's the result.

Basic story outline time!

Evil King Blagden takes over Edolie's kingdom, wanting to have two kingdoms, so he can merge them and rule both the East and West. Edolie escapes, and avoids being put into slavery by the evil king's men. She ends up meeting Darryn and Broderick, and tells them that she needs shelter and help. They take her to their cottage, and she is forced to get used to "the poor life."

Thinking that she alone cannot save her people, Edolie becomes very sad and moody, and takes out most of her anger on Broderick and Darryn. While the Doolie gets angry right back at her, Darryn calmly tells her that he will help her too... telling her that he can help her find a legendary magic rod that can save the people and defeat all of Blagden's forces. Edolie thinks the rod only exists in myth, but agrees to go, figuring "there's only one way to find out."

They manage to get the rod after a long, hard journey, from Wilona, and go to fight Blagden's minions, and save the day. Darryn gets kidnapped by the king, when one of his spies discovers that he is the same little prince Blagden tried to kill off years ago.

Certain things are still in the works, but that's the basic outline.

Now, for the scene outline.

Well, Darryn's blind, and Edolie's loud. So, he decided to shush her, after she'd been blabbing for a while, because he thought he heard something. Thinking he could quickly shush her by placing his finger on her lip, he was shocked and embarrassed when he discovered he accidentally stuck his finger up her nose. Poor guy! Poor Edolie too. Talk about awkward.
