Oh man. Last night was a real peach for me. (And by "peach", I mean the pit.)
My sweet sister and her darlin' hubby-to-be wanted to rent a movie to watch with my two other sisters at a showroom (which is like a home theater.) I wanted it to be something we all could enjoy (since my littlest sister is 9 and all.) So, we went to Blockbuster, flipping through the kids's section (or lack there of), when I spotted "Lemony Snicket's: A Series of Unfortunate Events". Seeing that it was rated "PG", I figured it was safe enough. Goodness, I was wrong. That movie seriously should've been rated "PG-13". Even I found it disturbing in spots, and I'm 18. Thank God my other sister took the 9 year old casually to the bathroom. It just was bizarre, and much too creepy for kids. And everyone complained that "The Black Cauldron" was too scary. Should've rented that one (I even saw it there, but brushed it aside. ((*sniff* I betrayed Taran.  )))Anyhoo, I drew Taran and Eilonwy watching "Lemony Snicket's" weird scary arse movie. Eilonwy's just disturbed, while Taran's pondering why in all this world it was rated "PG". Art - Me. Taran and Eilonwy - Not me. (P.S., the preview image is a sucky sketch of the movie cover.)
