... Mary's month. And since the feast of Our Lady of Fatima is on the way, plus Mother's Day, I wanted to draw Our Heavenly Mother.
Here, I drew Mary, holding her Immaulate Heart. The fire is the fire of Divine Love she was granted by the Holy Spirit on Pentecost Sunday. The roses have always been a symbol of honor to her. And the sword is the sword of Sin. (Quoted by Simeon at the Presentation of Christ: "Behold, this child is set for the fall and rising again of many in Israel; and for a sign which shall be spoken against; Yea, a sword shall pierce through thy own soul also, that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed."(Luk 2,22-35))

I really love that part of the holy bible, I allways wear a necklace with a cross and a medal of Our Lady of Fatima, not exactly The Miracle Medal (My mother keep that for herself¬¬) but it´s is a medal with the pierced heart.
