These images are from a scene for my story, "Once Upon a Wednesday."

Now, then... to explain the scene.

After meeting Princess Edolie, Darryn finds himself falling in love with her. Broderick, the Doolie, notices this, and feels that he should try and convince his master not to love her.

Darryn asks if Edolie is beautiful, and Broderick lies and tells him that she's "so ugly, blubbery, and warty, that she makes trolls look beautiful." Darryn can sense Broderick's lie, and decides to ask Edolie herself.

He tells her what Broderick said, and she laughs a little and says, "Oh really? Well, why don't you feel for yourself?"

Darryn touches Edolie and smiles and blushes because she's very pretty, and has soft, sweet skin. He then says with a little laugh, "Well, if you make trolls look beautiful, then they must be lovely."

Edolie laughs and then says, "Are you sure it's you who is blind, and not Broderick?"
