ZOOM IN!!!

Seriously. If you've never seen the show "Ben 10", please don't watch it. I just recently saw a newer episode with Kevin 11 and it led me to reading his back story.

He's a sociopath who was abandoned by his parents because he had a strange power of manipulating energy. He ends up duplicating Ben's forms and goes about causing trouble for Ben, by disguising as Ben's monsters. Then, he ends up changing into a mix of all Ben's monsters at once and discovers that he can't change back. THEN, by the near end of the second season, he gets shipped off to some far off galaxy and will most likely never return.

If you ask me, that is the WORST possible life for any character and is certainly inappropriate for a kids' show. And it's not like they're going to make him get better since sociopaths tend to not respond well to therapy. So, this kid has no hope...

... except in the fandom. (Because, even though I hate the show "Ben 10", I think this kid doesn't deserve such a depressing fate.)

So, I drew a slightly older Gwen, kissing him. With Grandpa Max shielding Ben's eyes. (Why? 'Cause I can.)

The scenario... (do bear in mind, this is my own interpretation of his return. Sure wish the half- arsed writers could think of something similar to this. Then, maybe I could hate this show less, at least. )

Kevin gets healed by aliens while trapped in that far off galaxy. Then, he finally gets sent back to Earth. Though he's still SLIGHTLY mentally unstable, he's also not completely so, and begins to mellow out when Gwen and Ben and Grandpa Max help him out and offer him a home with them. Kevin, who has never felt love before, grows to love Gwen, who eventually returns his affection.

Sure, I'm a sap. But I just hate it when writers make kids evil. (Prime examples for me are - Draco Malfoy in "Harry Potter" and Jack Spicer in "Xiaolin Showdown". But even those two have shown some signs of improvement.) It's so wrong. So, I simply had to do something about it.

Seriously, kids just can't be evil. I'm sorry.

EDIT: OKAY!! As much as I appreciate y'all telling me I should see the new series, - "Ben 10: Alien Force" - I've got news for you. I do watch it, and I like it a lot. Please bear in mind I drew this in '06... long before that show and Gwevin existed. I know it's now canon, but at the time, it was just a crack fantasy couple I thought of.
