Gwen and Kevin... it's not crack anymore. They're gonna be official in the new series. YAY GWEVIN!!

So, yeah... that being said, this is for 's Disney themed contest. (The club picked my theme after I suggested it. )

It's Gwen and Kevin as Jane and Tarzan from Disney's awesome film, "Tarzan."

Eyeballed an image from the movie for reference on the pose and layout. [link] (I sketched it in like, ten minutes in my notebook, before scanning and fixing it in Photoshop.)

I had a hard time deciding on which couple I wanted to draw them as, since so many couples fit these two. I actually considered drawing them as Ariel and Eric from "The Little Mermaid" (because they look like them in the new series.) And I considered drawing them as Belle and Adam/Beast from "Beauty and the Beast" (because I could picture Beast Kevin being his alien form.)

But I decided that they would fit nicely as Tarzan and Jane, and I'd actually been wanting to draw a "Tarzan" type fanart, so it worked out nicely. The reasons I didn't draw them as the other couples was because in "Beauty and the Beast", there are a lot of main characters... and in "Ben10" there aren't. And as for "The Little Mermaid", all it took was imagining Grandpa Max as King Triton (with his belly out 'till Wednesday) to turn me off. Plus, I wanted to draw Kevin being all innocent and cute like Tarzan. (Plus, Kevin was abandoned by his parents, and Tarzan's were killed... so it fits.)
