A doodle of my characters, Princess Edolie and Darryn, from a story I'm making called, "Once Upon a Wednesday".
Wanted to draw a picture showing their rocky start and personalities.
Edolie is fiery, spoiled and stubborn, and looks down on peasants... especially handicapped ones (like Darryn. *Note: Darryn's blind*) She likes him at first, but wants to deny it, because he's too "simple" for her.
Darryn, on the other hand, is calm, gentle and kind, even when she treats him like dirt. He loves her dearly, and goes out of his way to make her feel happy, even when she's ungrateful.
So, the picture is supposed to illustrate Edolie scolding Darryn for trying to cheer her up. She's all bothered, and he's confused...
It looks like something Disney would make, doesn't it?
You're right! It does look like something Disney would make. The only thing you'd have to do to make it completely like Disney is, unfortunately, eliminate one of the parents near the beginning

Well, both of Darryn's real parents die at the beginning... so that's a start.

I miss it when "gay" meant "happy", "queer" meant "odd", "fag" meant "to labor", and "faggot" meant "a bundle of sticks." -- Homosexuality is a choice, not a race. Therefore, I'm not racist if I dislike it.
Hey! I'd like to see something with a spoiled princess. She matures as the story goes.

Sweet! Quite Disney-esque. Out of curiosity, what is Darryn's handicap? I have a Disney-esque story in which the princess is lame and has a crippled arm, and the streetrat-type guy is part of a detested species... or something. I'm still working on it.

But I still like your plot very much

Wow... yep, you're gonna write a Disney-grade story then. I don't get why Disney does that. Makes me mad and stuff.
