Artist's Comments
This character is the comical side character in a story I'm making up called "Once Upon a Wednesday".
His name is Broderick, the faithful guardian and "man"servant of Darryn. He is a Doolie and the last one at that. Broderick has a bit of an ego and boasts that he is the most attractive Doolie there ever was (even though his appearance itself says otherwise.) He can cook and sew and likes to help Darryn's foster mother with her work. He at first dislikes Princess Edolie, because he thinks she's a spoiled child. However, he warms up to her. He's very overprotective of Darryn, who saved him from a group of poachers, and feels it his duty to protect Darryn from all the dangers his master cannot see.  I simply loved designing him. The camel head, the goose body, the goat hooves, it's all like a bad genetic experiment.ENJOY! Full View and NO stealing! For another picture from my story idea, click the link. As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same.
